FITNESS
What is fitness? It can mean many different things to people dependant on what they have set out to achieve, but to put it simply it’s your ability to move relative to your physiology and psychology at any given moment in time in relation to your environment and perception. The consideration that many of us deny ourselves and have a hard time accepting is our FEAR.
MOVEMENT
Moving improves and fixes a lot of things. Keep it simple, get outside, get into nature and move in as many different ways as you possibly can, walk, run, crawl, lift, drag, carry, throw, climb, swim, bike, row, jump, flip, fall.
DAILY PRACTICE
You should aim to do something every SINGLE day. Mix these elements up regularly into different patterns and combinations to continually challenge your mind and body.
LOAD
Increased load and movement increases awareness. The simple act of being more aware [focus] when you move makes you better. Load reveals your vulnerabilities, it points you in the direction where the work needs to be done.
INTENTION
To move well we must be aware and go about what we do with intent. Our practice provides us with experience and understanding, this is our guide. Maintaining awareness of our intentions in the middle of any challenge can be one of the most difficult tasks we can ask of ourselves, but is the key factor in our ability to evolve and grow.
